Together with Clemens Zwergel from Sapienza University, Italy we published a keynote review article on selenium-containing small molecules active in Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease within our neurodegenerative research project together with researchers from a multinational team at the Jagiellonian University, Poland, and Universität des Saarlandes, Germany. Our collaborative work summarizes the recent advances in the field of seleno-compounds active in neurodegenerative diseases accompanied by an expert opinion also towards future possibilities and directions.
